How it works
A deterministic ratio engine grounded in published standards, paired with an AI subjective read for a more holistic impression.
Every scan combines two different kinds of analysis: a deterministic ratio engine that measures real geometry from the points you place, and an AI subjective read from Claude that gives a more holistic, descriptive impression. The ratio engine never changes its mind between runs on the same photo; the AI read is more like a second opinion.
Physique scans measure proportions like the shoulder-to-waist ratio (the classical golden-ratio Adonis Index standard, ~1.618:1), waist-to-hip ratio (referencing the WHO guideline), and postural alignment (Kendall's plumb-line convention). Where no published standard exists for a given ratio, we say so plainly and mark it as a tunable heuristic rather than presenting it as an established norm.
Every measurement is scored against an ideal range or target, and results are grouped into Key Strengths and Areas of Improvement.
1.61x SHOULDER:WAIST
Front, side, and back physique points (shoulders, waist, hips, and more) have no reliable auto-detect model the way fine facial features do, so every point is placed by hand on your photo. On the full plan, you can also use a reference overlay showing where each point typically falls.
On the full plan, your photos are also sent to Claude for a descriptive, holistic read across muscular development, conditioning, structure, synthesis, and an estimated body fat breakdown. This is Claude's subjective impression, not a measurement, always presented alongside the deterministic ratio results rather than in place of them.
